This video shows why it might be advantageous to integrate Gen 5 16Gb Fibre Channel adapters into new server deployments, even if connecting to 8Gb Fibre Channel SAN and storage environments. Transaction and bandwidth performance can be increased by simply upgrading the adapter. Ripping and replacing the FC fabric and storage can wait.
