The FOA has created a new series we call "Fiber Optics - Live!" where we create lab demonstrations that allow you to actually see how optical fiber and other fiber optic components work.
In this video, we use a plastic rod and two laser pointers at different wavelengths to show how fiber attenuates light and how it is affected by the wavelength of the light.
