This also works for 3650 and 3850's running the latest code.  The industrial switches (IE2000, IE3000, etc) should do the same thing but its been a while since I've done this on any of them.   Remember there really isn't a default username and password so its up to you to create and configure one after you get back into the switch or router :-)<br />

This is necessary because, although domain names are easy for people to remember, computers or machines, access websites based on IP addresses<br />
In this tutorial I try to understand/learn how to configuration dhcp server/router to get ip automatic to pc from router..I used here gns3 software/simulator to make this video..you can also use cisco packet tracer software/simulator.<br />
I used her one router and three pc and one switch...dhcp is easy method to get automatic ip address from router to pc...<br />
The advantage of using DHCP is that changes to the network, for example a change in the address of the DNS server, need only be changed at the DHCP server, and all network hosts will be reconfigured the next time their DHCP clients poll the DHCP server. As an added advantage, it is also easier to integrate new computers into the network, as there is no need to check for the availability of an IP address. Conflicts in IP address allocation are also reduced]]></description>
